Little is known about the insects that inhabit this oak. An unidentified gall and unidentified green katydid are shown. Burros are common working animals in Mexico.

Acorn source

Puebla, Mexico. Collected 2 miles southest of El Seco junction road to Orizaba. Collected in the fall of 1966 by Lance McIntyre, Dick Hildreth and Roman Gankin.
